3. 13 assists. Wuhan remains the main leader this season. That’s because they’ve got not only a potent scorer but also a big-name striker. Davidson has been excellent in assisting his team to win.

The departure of the Legionnaires from the Superleague has not led to an improvement in the quality of play of the local players. The list of the top 10 scorers includes only two Chinese players, with the rest coming from Major League Soccer.

As for the negative results of the current season, Wuhan were not without their fault either. One match was in danger of being postponed, because the club failed to provide the required number of players. This blunder did not affect their position in the standings, and that’s a real achievement.
